WooCommerce checkout and payments, login, registration and My Account, forms and the plugins behind them, and pages driven by booking, membership or course plugins. Studio lists all of this before the conversion starts.
Yes. The form is rendered in the new design but submitted through your existing form plugin, so validation, notifications, webhooks, CRM integrations, uploads and conditional logic keep working as they do today.
The live site updates by itself. Publish a post, change a price or edit a menu and the new front picks it up. No button to remember, and a sync costs nothing.
Yes. Studio reads your pages the way a visitor's browser does, so it does not matter which builder or theme produced them. That is also why it can see design that builders keep hidden from APIs.
No. Keep your current WordPress hosting. The new front is served from the edge and talks to your site where it is. Genwave hosting exists if you want a managed option, not because Studio needs it.

Studio starts by asking what your business is and which pages you need, builds the WordPress site (including a stocked shop if you want one) and then designs the front on top of it.
At any time. Every edit is a draft until you publish, and a published front can be rolled back to its previous version or switched off. Your WordPress site is untouched underneath.
Studio is included in Pro and Business, with no fee per conversion: when pages change, they are rebuilt as part of your plan. On the Free plan you can see your homepage rebuilt once, as a preview. It is not published and the editor is view-only.
